Our story began with the pioneering legacy of Reg Vardy, a name synonymous with innovation and excellence in the automotive industry. Established in 1923, Reg Vardy grew to become one of the UK’s largest car dealership groups, renowned for its customer-first approach and operational excellence. After an illustrious journey, the company was successfully sold in 2006.
Building on that legacy, Peter Vardy Ltd was founded in 2006 with a bold vision to redefine the car buying and ownership experience. Over the years, we’ve grown into a market leader in automotive retail, underpinned by our commitment to people, innovation, and philanthropy. This journey led to the creation of our trailblazing startups, including SilverBullet, a cutting-edge e-commerce platform transforming the way cars are sold online; CarMoney, a leader in car finance; and FlexAuto, which offers flexible vehicle mobility solutions for today’s drivers.
2025 see us enter a new chapter at Peter Vardy Global, the umbrella company for the Vardy family’s diverse activities. Following the restructure and divestment of the Automotive Retail Group, we bring together our existing and thriving disruptive new businesses. With change brings opportunities and therefore we are proud to launch our new division Peter Vardy Global Ventures, a dynamic investment arm dedicated to supporting visionary leaders and disruptive ideas in the automotive and fintech sectors.
We continue to scale our own startups—CarMoney, FlexAuto, and our latest endeavour, Gen+, a edtech start-up focussed on developing young leaders across Scotland and then the global. In addition to growing these ventures, we are actively seeking new businesses to support and nurture as hands-on investors, creating opportunities to build and grow together.
